EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK. If you have not already read the book it is totally worth the time it takes to read the book. Every description and question keeps you more interested in reading. I thought the tail of Emily Windsnap was an amazing read. KEEP READING AND WHEN YOU GIRLS ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD BOOK I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS BOOK The book takes you on an amazing journey with Emily Windsnap as she finds out she is a mermaid and tries to find her merdad who is is jail. I woud reccomend every girl to read it. This book will always keep you wanting to read and for your information the sequel is a great read to go along with the first book.
The adult in me says, "Yeah, it's an OK story, but I've seen this plot a dozen times before." So I'm a torn between the little girl and adult whether or not I'll read the rest of the series. That said, I think most little girls will enjoy the story as well. Naturally Emily begins to think of her Dad and tries searching for him.The little girl in me is always excited about books with mythical creature like mermaids.
She just knows he's not around, and she certainly didn't think that he was a mermaid, until recently. But she doesn't need to be because, as soon as she hits the water, she's a natural. Young Emily Windsnap doesn't know much about her Dad.
She also has a tail when in the water. I think I will because I felt the same way about The Lighting Thief by Rick Riordan and ended up loving some of the books after the first one. For the new school year, Emily has to take swimming.
Having never been in the water before, she's nervous.
I couldn't put the book down. Also the book was so descriptive that as I read it a movie played in my head. It was a great book that was very adventrous.
She will love it. This book is one of the best books I have ever read. Now I have to get my mom to buy me the next book because I just know it will be interesting.
I loved this book so much. If you are wondering if you should buy it for a young girl like me you should. So if you are ready to follow Emily Windsnap through her adventures as a mermaid and a school girl buy this book.
Every step of the way I felt like I was going through the same thing. I had finished the book in a day and a half because it was so interesting.
She then finds shes a mermaid. Emily Windsnap goes to 7th grade swimming class. If you are looking for an interesting childrens book, read this one. This is the most interesting book I have ever read; its also my dream. When she goes underwater, she finds that her legs stick together. In the middle of the night, she jumps in the ocean.
Emily Windsnap is my favorite character because she is the coolest in the whole book and I'm sure that will be your favorite character to. The author of this book is Liz Kessler This story is about a girl who finds out this unbelievable secret. It happened on the first day of swimming class.
My favorite part was when I found out the secret and I don't have a least favorite part of the book. This book is mostly for females, ages for 9-16. I do like this book because it has a special secret in it. Also, I have begged my mom for Lunchables before, just like Emily begged her mom for swimming lessons.I have felt some of the things this character has felt because Emily has never seen her dad and I haven't seen my dad in awhile ether.
Mandy is always impolite to the coach and other people. My text-to-self connection is that I also want to have swimming classes. Emily has an adventure by finding a secret hidden behind her life. Emily Windsnap reminds me of my friend, Emilie.
One of the characters turned into a mermaid but, you will have to read this book to see who did. Emily Windsnap is a nice girl. Emily took swimming classes.
